Vintage Frankart Greyhound Russian Wolfhound Borzoi 8" Metal Bookends ~ Art Deco Sanded Unfinished Aluminum by the Pair or as a SINGLE - USA

Another closed warehouse find,
FRANKART "Greyhound Bookends".
These are unfinished castings from an old factory in Brooklyn NY.
I am offering them 2 ways:
1 - by a single dog or a pair of dogs.
2 - either empty and less weight and open on the bottom without felt or filled with concrete and felt applied to the bottom.
The ordering chart below lists these options and prices.
They are offered with two weights.
"Not Weighted" - no concrete filler and no felt on the bottom
"WEIGHTED" - with concrete filler and with felt on the bottom..

of this Art Deco Moderne Dog.
They were cast in the 1970's - 80's in the original 1920's molds.
These are being sold by the PAIR (2 pieces) or as a SINGLE Dog (1 piece)

3-1/2" ~ Wide ~ (8.9 cm)
2-1/4" ~ Deep ~ (5.7 cm)

""HOW TO WEIGHT THIS SET OF BOOKENDS""

I wanted to pass along some of my production methods.

Please fill the bases of the bookends or lamp castings with either:
Concrete Patch
or
Concrete Hydraulic Cement
All are available in small bins or bags at Ace Hardware, Lowes or Home Depot..

Please let the concrete dry for 24 hours before starting to paint or finish.
That will give them the weight to work best as Bookends... or a Door Stop or a secure lamp.

I am creating a listing to offer "WEIGHTED" and have this process done by me...
