These are just darling Penguin salt & pepper shakers - Great collectibles.
Penguins are aquatic, flightless birds that are highly adapted to life in the water.
Their distinct tuxedo-like appearance is called countershading, a form of camouflage that helps keep them safe in the water.
They are in great condition, have no chips or cracks, and have a plastic cork on the bottom.
They make a fine decorative novelty for anyone. These are new old stock and from the 1990's from a Five and Dime Store in NJ.

Length ~ 3-1/2" by 1-3/4"
