These bookends are old stock that came from the
HENRY FORD MUSEUM IN DEAR-BORN MICHIGAN
THEY ARE VERY HEAVY! AND REALLY WORK holding a stack of books!.. As a brass item some of them show the patina because of the age ,light wear.
